Two killed in Baglung landslides

POKHARA: Two individuals have been killed after landslides buried their homes in two separate areas of Jaimini Municipality in Baglung on Sunday morning.

In line with Gandaki Provincial Police Workplace, 75-year-old Jalpa Devi Paudel died after the landslide fell onto their home in Binaareka, at round 7:00 am immediately morning.

There have been seven others in the home on the time of incident. They’re stated to be secure.

Equally, 65-year-old Laxmi Devi Padhya was buried beneath the particles of the landslide in Tunibot of Jaimini-1. Padhya died after the landslip fell onto their home from the highway above.

Two others who have been buried along with her have been rescued safely, knowledgeable Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rajendra Babu Regmi, at Provincial Police Workplace.
