NLTC objects to SC decision on embossed number plate

POKHARA, SEPTEMBER 10

The Nepali Language Lecturers Council has objected the choice of the Supreme Courtroom to place solely Roman letters on embossed quantity plates of autos.

Issuing a press launch immediately, Council Chair Dilliram Aryal said that it was a conspiracy in opposition to Nepali language and tradition.

The press launch additional reads that such selections have the evil motive of damaging Nepali language and tradition underneath ‘unseen design’.

The Division of Transport Administration had began to instal embossed registration quantity plates on autos in Kathmandu valley from August 2017 and the transfer was halted for about three years.

It was suspended after a writ was filed within the Supreme Courtroom searching for to place Nepali Devanagari letters on the quantity plate.
